What to record every time you make.

What to record

• 1.Before you start — date, product type and name, batch number, recipe and planned quantity.
• 2.Your ingredients — wax or base, fragrance oil, wick/reeds/vessel, suppliers, lot numbers and quantities weighed.
• 3.During the batch — temperatures or timings, units made, and any changes or issues.
• 4.After the batch — cure date, test notes and anything to change next time.
• 5.A quick review — saleable units, wastage, cost impact and whether you'd repeat the batch.
