Scent to Guide is a small resource site offering free guides, checklists and downloads for candle and home fragrance makers. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us at scenttoguide@outlook.com.
We do not ask for payment details on this site, and we never sell your information.
We use your email only to send you the maker guides, checklists and resources you asked for, and the occasional note when something new is added. We rely on your consent, which you give when you enter your email and sign up. You can withdraw it at any time.
We use trusted service providers to run the site and our email list — including Klaviyo (email marketing) and our website host. These providers process your information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service. We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
We keep your email on our list until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent at any time. To do any of these, email scenttoguide@outlook.com and we’ll help. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
This site uses only what’s needed to work properly. We store a small note in your browser so a popup doesn’t keep reappearing once you’ve seen it. We don’t use it to track you across other sites.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
